Harry’s NASCAR Betting Pics and Pocono Prop Bets

What: Pocono Organic 325 AND the Pocono 350

When: Saturday & Sunday, June 27 & 28

Where: Pocono, Pennsylvania

Because of the tight schedule NASCAR has put together we will get both races scheduled for the Pocono’s on Saturday and Sunday of this week. The Pocono Organic 325 will be first and then the Pocono 350 will follow. After a somewhat boring race in Miami, Talladega did not disappoint as Ryan Blaney got his first win of the season just a split-second ahead of Ricky Stenhouse and a backward finishing Aric Almirola.

Hopefully you jumped on my NASCAR picks last week as I gave out Blaney to win (+1100 odds, you’re welcome) and Almirola for a top 3 finish (+650, no no, it was my pleasure). This will be an interesting couple days as drivers try to put together a solid race on Saturday and then try to improve the following day. Aside from my wagers that I plan on going with on Saturday I’ll also include some wagers to consider for both days.

NASCAR Stats to Consider at Pocono

Best Average Finish This Season

1-Kevin Harvick 8.2

2-Brad Keselowski 9.7

3-Denny Hamlin 10.2

Most wins This Season

1-Denny Hamlin 3

2-Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano all with 2

Points Leaders

1-Kevin Harvick 490

2-Chase Elliott 458

3-Joey Logano & Ryan Blaney 457

5-Brad Keselowski 437

Odds to Win on Saturday

+450 Kyle Busch

-last four races at Pocono Raceway Kyle has led for 200 laps and has two wins

+650 Kevin Harvick

-last four races here Kevin has three top 10’s

+700 Denny Hamlin

-defending champion at Pocono

+750 Chase Elliott

-finished last (38th) last race here

+750 Martin Truex, Jr

-finished 3rd last race here and took home the checkered four races back at Pocono

+800 Brad Keselowski

-only 1 win in 20 lifetime races at Pocono Raceway

+950 Ryan Blaney

-His seven top 5’s this season leads NASCAR

Pocono Organic 325 and Pocono 35 Prop Bets and Finishes

Top 10 Finish

Kurt Busch (is -125 in Saturday’s race)

-Has 20 top 10’s, 14 top 5’s and three wins at Pocono in 37 career starts.

Chris Buescher (is +325 in Saturday’s race)

-Buescher won here in August of 2016 and has been running well this season (three top 10’s).

Daniel Suarez (is +1100 in Saturday’s race)

-In his last four races here, Suarez Suarez has two top 10’s (including one second three races ago), has led for 38 total laps and has one pole position.

Pocono Prop Bet: Team of Race Winner

+160 Joe Gibbs Racing

+300 Team Penske

+350 Hendrick MotorSports

+425 Stewart-Haas Racing

+2500 Everyone else

Not only has Gibbs Racing won at the Pocono’s in five straight races but they swept the board last race here with Denny Hamlin winning, Erik Jones snatching second, and Martin Truex grabbed a top 3 finish.

Harry’s Pocono Prop Bet Team of Race Winner Pick: +160 Joe Gibbs Racing

Pocono Prop Bet: Winning Car Number

Over/Under 17.5

+105 Over

-135 Under

With this bet we get the No. 18 car of Kyle Busch who has three top 5’s in his last four races here and the No. 19 of Martin Truex who just recently got his first win of the season. Also, the No. 22 car of Joey Logano has two win this year and historically Erik Jones (20 car) has done well here with four top 5’s in six career starts. Lookout for the 88 car of Alex Bowman who is due for a bigtime showing.

Pocono Prop Bet Winning Car Number Pick by Harry: +105 Over 17.5

Top 5 Finish

+260 Erik Jones

Jones has looked fantastic at times this year, but this is the track where he shines, just like last week when I took Almirola at Talladega. Sometimes that’s the way it works in NASCAR and Jones has finished second, third and fifth in his last three races at Pocono.

-125 Kyle Busch

In 30 career starts at Pocono, Busch has three wins (two in his last three races), 14 top 10’s and eight top 5’s.

Pocono Driver Matchup Prop Bets:

-110 Joey Logano

-110 Ryan Blaney

This is more of a gut feeling since Blaney won on Sunday and Logano was in the top 5 for most of the race, but blew it again late and finished 16th. The week before, Logano was done early and finished 27th in Miami. It’s time Logano put forth a solid, full effort.

Harry’s Pocono Driver Matchup Prop Bet Prediction: Logano

-125 Denny Hamlin

-105 Brad Keselowski

In 20 career starts at Pocono, Keselowski has led for 183 laps, meanwhile in 28 starts Denny Hamlin has led for an amazing 726 laps. Only the great Jimmy Johnson has more than Hamlin and it took Johnson 36 starts to amass 743 laps led at Pocono.

Harry’s Pocono Driver Matchup Prop Bet Pick: Hamlin

I hope everyone enjoys back-to-back days of racing and maybe I can put a little extra money in your purse or pocket thanks to the Pocono Raceway!!!

Happy betting!!!
