Harry’s NASCAR All-Star Betting Predictions and NASCAR All-Star Prop Bets from Bristol
What: The NASCAR All-Star Open & NASCAR All-Star Race
Where: Bristol, Tennessee
When: Wednesday, July 15th
Wednesday night should be tons of fun as NASCAR takes its show on the road to Bristol, Tennessee for its All-Star races. Even though it is an All-Star event, Bristol is a short track and that bodes well for drivers like Clint Bowyer (best average finisher on short courses since 2017 at 7.29), Kyle Busch (three wins in Kyle’s last seven short-track races) and Brad Keselowski (in 20 races here he has led for 1336 laps). However, short tracks are usually a harbinger of bad things for cup points leader Kevin Harvick who has never won in 20 tries in Bristol.
After the All-Star races, the NASCAR schedule picks up again on Sunday from Texas Motor Speedway. Next week the circuit will have another mid-week race on Thursday July 23rd from Kansas, then on August 2nd they hit New Hampshire, before finally having a repeat of the Pocono’s as NASCAR will have races on Saturday and Sunday, August 8th and 9th from Michigan International Speedway.
So, we have a lot of racing in the next three to four weeks, but first we have the All-Star races from Bristol, so let’s jump right into it.
NASCAR All-Star Race Prop Bets and Odds
All-Star Open Race Odds
+400 Clint Bowyer
+550 William Byron
+600 Aric Almirola
+650 Christopher Bell
+650 Matt DiBenedetto
+700 Tyler Reddick
A few names to maybe stay away from in this race are drivers who have not fared well at this track. In the last seven races in Bristol, Michael McDowell (66-1), Cory LaJoie (66-1), and Aric Almirola (6-1) have combined for nine DNFs (did not finish) in 21 combined starts. Almirola has just one top 5 at this track and only 11 top 20 finishes in 20 career starts (also 5 DNF’s).
However, on the other side of the… track… a driver who does flourish here is Clint Bowyer. In 20 career races at Bristol, Bowyer has won once, has five top 5’s, 14 top 10’s and has led for a total of 405 laps. Other drivers who have had mild success at this venue are William Byron (finished 2nd once), Matt DiBenedetto (a top 5 and has 97 laps led to his credit) and Daniel Suarez (seven top 10’s in 20 races).
NASCAR All-Star Race Top 3 Finisher Odds
+180 Christopher Bell
Bell is having a heck of a rookie season and has been all over the top of the leaderboards lately with five top 10’s and a top 5 this season.
+150 William Byron
Byron is due for a solid performance; he is 14th in the points lead (19 points behind Clint Bowyer). Byron also has five top 10’s this season like the aforementioned Bell.
Harry’s NASCAR All-Star Open Top 3 Finisher and Winner Odds at Bristol
+115 and +400 Clint Bowyer
Bowyer is 13th in cup points and has five top 10 finishes this campaign to go along with one second finish. He has plenty of experience at this track and could use a win to get him going for the rest of the season.

All-Star Race Odds
+450 Kevin Harvick
+500 Chase Elliott
+550 Denny Hamlin
+700 Joey Logano
+700 Kyle Busch
+800 Brad Keselowski
+950 Ryan Blaney
+6600 Cole Custer
First off, let us welcome rookie Cole Custer to the winner’s circle as he scored a wild win last week in Kentucky. If you want to keep rolling with Cole you can also get him at 14/1 odds to finish in the top 3. A guy you should probably stay away from is the number 88 car, Alex Bowman. Bowman hasn’t been the same since winning early on in the season and in 14 career races at this track, he has just one top 5 and has led for a total of 1 lap.
Top 3 Finisher
+225 Brad Keselowski
Keselowski 10 top 10s here, including three career victories. This season, Keselowski is currently second in points and average finish behind Kevin Harvick.
+300 Martin Truex, Jr.
Truex is coming off an excellent race, finishing second in Kentucky. Not only that, but in the last 20 short course races he has led for the most laps at 1,605. He also has four top 5’s and eight top 10’s during that time frame.
Top 3 Finisher and Winner
+190 and +700 Kyle Busch
No one on the NASCAR circuit is in need of a victory more than Kyle Busch. In the last month, He has had terrible car issues and luck at the end of races. Since 2017 on short tracks, Kyle has six wins in 20 races and has led for 1522 laps. Also, during that time, he has the second-best finishing average at 7.4 (just behind Bowyer).
Enjoy the All-Star races everyone and we will have predictions from Texas Motor Speedway later in the week. Happy betting !!!
