After tournaments in California, Arizona, and Mexico, the PGA Tour is all set to start its Florida swing this Thursday with the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens. All the big-name elite golfers will be attending the month-long stretch of prestigious tournaments in Florida. These are the current odds on some of the favorites to get it done this week.

Horschel loves playing here, with three Top 20 finishes in the past four tournaments. He is ranked 35th in the world rankings and has four top 10 finishes already this season.

Jason Kokrak (Top 20: +400, Top 10: +800)
Kokrak is a player who I feel will have a special season and will win at some point this season. Kokrak played nicely here finishing 9th in last year’s tournament.
Erik Van Rooyen (Top 20: +250, Top 10: +550)
Van Rooyen is a rising star who hails from South Africa. He had an excellent PGA championship in Long Island last year and finished tied for third in Mexico last week.
The Best Plays on the Golf Odds this Weekend: To Make the Cut Odds, To Miss the Cut Odds
-150 Yes on… Keith Mitchell
Not a terrible price to lay on the defending champion
-135 Yes on… Matt Wallace
Wallace is starting to play more in the States than on the European Tour and it will show up this weekend with four days of play.
-200 Yes on… Lee Westwood
The ageless one has been playing solid golf so far this season, so he’ll make it past Friday.
+120 No on… Kurt Kitayama
Kitayama struggled plenty last week in Mexico City where he missed many fairways and his putting was awful. I don’t see that changing much this week.
Top Englishman
+125 Tommy Fleetwood
(Other Englishmen: Rose, Poulter, Westwood, T Lewis, M. Wallace, Donald)
Fleetwood plays well here and finished 18th last year while placing 4th in 2018.
The Best Plays on the Golf Odds this Weekend: Honda Classic Winner Odds
Rickie Fowler to Win +1500
Top 5 +350
Top 10 +175
Fowler is well overdue for a win and this might be the place where he gets it done. I’m going with Rickie based on his past history here. Fowler finished second last season and sixth in 2016. In 2017, he was the winner so let’s look for Fowler to put up a big showing.
