The NFL Week 2 Best Bet is Bears at Broncos Under 40.5 Points
The Game:
Chicago Bears at Denver Broncos: Over Under Bet 40.5 Points
On Thursday night the Chicago Bears offense looked erratic and boring; much like the Denver Broncos on Monday night. The Bears couldn’t move the ball and their run calls were so slow in developing that the Packers were all over them. The Broncos did practically nothing on offense for the first 55 minutes of the game and had trouble discovering a running game. Both starting quarterbacks looked rusty to say the least and they may take time to find their groove. Therefore, on Sunday maybe both teams try to establish a running game, which will keep the clock running in our attempt for the under 40.5.
The Bears defense still looks really good as they held Packers QB Aaron Rodgers in check; he only had 203 yards passing and one touchdown. The Raiders could have scored more versus Denver, but the Broncos defense tightened up when it needed to as well.
The NFL Week 2 Best Bet Trends
Here are some trends that lean my way:
- Bears games have gone UNDER in SEVEN (7) straight games
- When these two teams play the late afternoon game, the game has gone UNDER for both in their last SEVEN (7) games
- And … In the last SEVEN (7) times these two teams have faced off, SIX (6) of those games have gone UNDER
PREDICTION:
CHICAGO BEARS 20
DENVER BRONCOS 16
