NFL Week 9 Best Bet: Tease the Jaguars Push the Cowboys/Giants Over
The Play:
2–TEAM 7–POINT TEASER
Game One: Jacksonville Jaguars +2à+9 vs. the Houston Texans in London
Game Two: Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants OVER 48.0
The Jaguars have the fifth best rushing attack in the league and have won two straight games while averaging 28 points over that time. Gardner Minshew has been solid for Jacksonville, tossing 13 TD passes against just two interceptions and almost led the Jags to an upset against the Texans in their first go around this season (the Texans prevailed 13-12 on a Jaguars failed two-point conversion with under a minute to go in the game).
Since losing to the Kansas City Chiefs by 14 points in Week 1, the Jaguars have covered a 7–point teaser the entire rest of the season. The Jags defense has been playing tough lately and are now up to 12th overall in the league. Only one game for the Texans has been decided by more than seven points and that was a blowout win versus the anemic Atlanta Falcons. The Jaguars are the kings of England; winning three out of their last four games there and if you are thinking how they would have done in teasers in England? They would have covered a all four times.
Six out of the Giants eight games have gone over 42 points and Giants QB, Daniel Jones, had the first four touchdown game of his career last week against the Lions in a loss. Giants RB Saquon Barkley is ready to explode and is getting back to his usual spectacular self. The game in New York last year versus these two bitter rivals accumulated 71 total points and the game in Dallas earlier this year passed the 50-point threshold (52). In general, Cowboys games this year have gone over 42 points in five of the seven games. This one has all the makings of a high scoring game between Dak and Daniel.
Prediction:

NY GIANTS 24
