Tottenham Hotspur’s three-match winning streak has come to an end after their 2-1 loss at Chelsea. With Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son out injured, Spurs are dangerously lacking attacking quality and it showed. Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud opened the scoring in the first half before Marcos Alonso’s strike doubled Chelsea’s lead after half-time.

Chelsea hit the woodwork three times during the game and Antonio Rudiger’s own goal in the 89th minute put Chelsea under undue pressure, but they were able to squeeze out the three points.

Tottenham could have gone above Chelsea with a draw and are now four points behind them.

Sportsbooks have Tottenham’s updated odds on finishing in the top four openings at +290.

Arsenal has won consecutive league games for the first time since the opening two fixtures of the Premier League season… in August.

Despite going down 1-0 within the first minute against Everton, Eddie Nketiah who started ahead of Alexandre Lacazette scored his second-ever Premier League goal for Arsenal to equalize the game. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal up 2-1 just six minutes after Nketiah’s goal before Richarlison made it 2-2 before half-time.

Aubameyang hit his second of the game and his 17th this season, equalling Jamie Vardy as the Premier League top scorer to win the game for Arsenal who moves up to ninth and is now six points behind Chelsea in fourth.

Sportsbooks has the odds of Arsenal finishing in the top four at a lowly +1300.

Chelsea scored their first win in five in a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur in their London derby.

Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso were on the scoresheet for the home side as they increased their lead over Tottenham to four points in the top four race.

Unfortunately for Chelsea, key midfielder N’Golo Kante is injured for up to three weeks and will be a big loss in their top four charge and their Champions League exploits.

Chelsea continues to possess the third-best odds to finish in the top four which open at 200.

Manchester United Odds to Finish in the Top Four

Manchester United earned a comfortable 3-0 win against Watford in what was just their third time this season winning consecutive league games.

New signing Bruno Fernandes opened his Manchester United account with a penalty in the first half before an amazing strike by Anthony Martial doubled the lead in the second half.

Teenager Mason Greenwood scored his fourth league goal of the season as Man United rise to fifth in the table and are just three points behind Chelsea in fourth.

Sportsbooks’ odds on Manchester United to finish in the top four are open at +275.

Leicester City is now without a win in their last three games as they lost 1-0 at home to Manchester City.

Despite Kasper Schmeichel saving Sergio Aguero’s penalty in the second half, Gabriel Jesus netted the winning goal in the 80th minute to go seven points ahead of Leicester.

Jamie Vardy’s goal drought is now up to nine games but remains the Premier League top scorer with 17 goals. Leicester is now just six points ahead of Chelsea in fourth and could soon see that deficit decreasing if their bad form continues.

Sportsbooks’ odds on Leicester City to finish in the top four open at –1000.
