Liverpool squeaked out a 1-0 win over Wolves at home to move 14 points ahead of Leicester City. The league leaders went ahead through Sadio Mane before the goal was ruled out due to handball. However, VAR came to play and ruled that Adam Lallana’s assist was by way of his shoulder not his hand and the goa was subsequently given.
Wolves quickly equalized before the return of VAR ruled Raul Neto’s goal out for offside.
Liverpool ground the result against a resilient Wolves side who beat the champions Manchester City just two days previous.
