2020 EPL Odds Preview Week 19
We have reached Week 19 of the 2019/20 Premier League season and the gap between league leaders Liverpool and third-placed Manchester City hasreduced to 11 points.
Liverpool competed in the FIFA Club World Cup this past weekend as they secured their second trophy of the season. The Reds defeated Brazilian champions Flamengo 1-0 in the final of the competition as the game went to extra time.
Roberto Firmino scored the winner for the second game running as Liverpool became the first English team to complete the European Treble of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Manchester City moved in within a point of second-placed Leicester as they beat the Foxes 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Despite going down via a Jamie Vardy goal in the first half, City regrouped by netting twice in the first half to go ahead and sealed the deal with a Gabriel Jesus strike in the second half.

The EPL Odds and the Best of the Rest Looking to Capture the Title
Tottenham Hotspur earned a last-minute win away to Wolverhampton Wanderers. A Jan Vertonghen 90th minute winner earned three points in a 2-1 win for Spurs who’ve now risen to fifth in the Premier League table, just three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
It was yet another welcome response for Jose Mourinho as his side lost to Bayern Munich 3-1 midweek in the UEFA Champions League and bounced back with another win.
Sportsbooks have their updated odds on winning the 2020 EPL odds at a staggering +40000.
Arsenal may have taken a step forward with the hiring of former player and captain Mikel Arteta as their new head coach, yet they seem as lackluster on the pitch as always having drawn 0-0 against Everton in a drab draw at Goodison Park.
Arteta wasn’t officially leading the team today with interim manager Freddie Ljungberg taking charge for the last time before Arteta takes the reign. Everton also had a new manager waiting in the wings as they announced the hiring of UEFA Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti.
This could be the start of a bright future for Arsenal but Arteta is undoubtedly a gamble to take but Arsenal fans will be wishing he’s learned much off Pep Guardiola at Manchester United.
Sportsbooks has the odds of Arsenal winning the EPL Title at +500000.

Chelsea EPL Odds
Chelsea has bounced back from four losses in their last five league games with an impressive 2-0 away win at rivals Tottenham. Frank Lampard and his young Chelsea
team have been under the kosh in recent weeks after disappointing results to the likes of West Ham United, Everton and Bournemouth.
Chelsea fans have questioned Lampard’s team selection in recent weeks with some fans wondering why Cesar Azpilicueta is still in the line-up after below-average displays coupled with the emergence of young full-back Reece James.
However, his team selection worked out on the weekend with a Willian double alongside an impressive team performance to defeat a Tottenham side managed by former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea now possesses the fourth-best odds to win the EPL title which opens at +50000.
Manchester United seem to have taken a step back (yet again) after a 2-0 loss to bottom of the table Watford. United entered the match as a team in form and who’ve been seen as taking a step forward due to recent positive results. The return of Paul Pogba to the bench was also a welcome addition to the Manchester club.
However, things turned sour as Watford opened the scoring in the second half after an Ismaila Sarr strike was fumbled by David De Gea into the net. Just a few minutes later, Watford captain Troy Deeney scored a penalty to doubled Watford’s lead en route to their first home win of the season.
It was only Watford’s 10 and 11th Premier League goals of the season and they gained a huge three points that help their battle for Premier League survival, however, they are still six points from safety halfway through the season.
