2020 EPL Odds Preview Week 17
We have reached week 17 of the 2019/20 Premier League season and the gap between league leaders Liverpool and third-placed Manchester City has become a staggering 14 points.
Liverpool put in their most dominant performance of the season, easing to a comfortable 3-0 away at Bournemouth. With Sadio Mane rested, Mohamed Salah came back into the side and netted for his seventh Premier League goal of the season.
Naby Keita also returned to the starting line-up after an illness and scored his first goal of the season alongside an assist that culminated in a man of the match performance to reignite his Liverpool career.
Manchester City lost their fourth league game this season, bowing 2-1 at home to Manchester United. City’s loss now leaves them 14 points behind league leaders Liverpool.
City went 2-0 down in the first half before a Nicolas Otamendi header in the 80th minute set up a nervy finish for United. Liverpool now has an unassailable lead over City and their chances to retain their Premier League died tonight at the Etihad Stadium.

Jamie Vardy scored his 15th and 16th Premier League goal of the season alongside goals by Jonny Evans and Kelechi Iheanacho to seal the victory for the Foxes, Vardy scored in the eighth game in a row, demonstrating his position as one of the elite strikers in the Premier League.
They’ve now won eight games on the bounce and remain hot on the heels of Liverpool, despite being eight points behind the league leaders.
