2020 EPL Odds Preview Week 16
We have reached week 16 of the 2019/20 Premier League season and the gap between Liverpool and Manchester City remains a staggering 11 points.
Liverpool thrashed Everton 5-2 in a Merseyside Derby where Jurgen Klopp elected to rest Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in a starting line-up that baffled Liverpool fans before kick-off. Those doubts were quickly shattered after a 2-0 start via Divock and Xherdan Shaqiri; the latter making his first Premier League start in 11 months.
The game ended 5-2 to Everton that kept an 11-point lead over Manchester City in third place and an eight-point lead over second-place Leicester City who also won in midweek against Watford in a 2-0 home win.
Manchester City got back to winning ways with a 4-1 win over Burnley at Turf Moor. Gabriel Jesus scored a brace after going goalless for six games. City now finds itself 11 points behind Liverpool and with just two wins in their last five games in all competitions.
Liverpool who continues to possess an eight-point lead at the top of the table remains the sportsbooks favorites for the sixth week in a row with odds of -350, their best odds of the season, to win the 2020 EPL Title. Manchester City also remains second with odds of +333, their worst odds of the season, to retain their Premier League Title.

The EPL Odds and the Best of the Rest Looking to Capture the Title
Tottenham Hotspur suffered their first loss under Jose Mourinho, losing 2-1 to Manchester United; Mourinho’s former club. A double from Marcus Rashford in an impressive solo performance was enough to get all three points at Old Trafford.
One positive for Spurs’ despite their loss is the continued improved form of Dele Alli, who has now scored in three consecutive Premier League games since 2017.

Arsenal is now winless in nine after a 2-1 home loss to Brighton and Hove Albion in Freddie Ljungberg’s first home game as charge as interim boss. Arsenal remains winless in the league since the 6th of October when they beat Bournemouth 1-0.
Arsenal may now look to hire a permanent boss after the sacking of Unai Emery as the experiment of Ljungberg so far does not seem to be working.

Chelsea got back to winning ways with a 2-1 win at home against Aston Villa. Top scorer Tammy Abraham returned to the side after two games out injured; two games Chelsea both lost against Manchester City and West Ham United.
Abraham scored one and assisted Mason Mount’s fifth goal of the season to go six points clear in fourth place.
Chelsea now possesses the fourth-best odds to win the EPL title which opens at +12500.
Manchester United got back on the winning column with an impressive 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester-born Marcus Rashford scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season with an impressive performance that raised United to sixth in the table.
They now face Manchester City at Old Trafford in the first Manchester Derby of the season and will be yet another big test for United. remain 9th in the Premier League table after a 2-2 home draw against Aston Villa.

Leicester City remains second in the Premier League after a 2-0 home win over Watford. Jamie Vardy scored his 14th Premier League goal to open the scoring for Leicester before a 90th-minute goal from James Maddison sealed the three points for The Foxes.
They’ve now won seven games on the bounce and remain hot on the heels of Liverpool, despite being eight points behind the league leaders.
Sportsbooks’ odds on Leicester City to win the EPL title for the second time in their history is now open at +2000, the third-best odds in the league.
Liverpool and Manchester City remain the only clubs worth putting your money on, despite Leicester’s hugely impressive season. Liverpool remain favorites going into week 16 and we shall see if this continues until the end of the season.
