2020 EPL Top Four Odds Preview Week 24

We have reached week 24 of the 2019/20 Premier League season and the top four race has continued its exhilarating ride.

Tottenham Hotspur suffered their second consecutive league defeat as they’ve now dropped nine points behind Chelsea in fourth place.

In their first game since the injury of Harry Kane, Spurs lost 1-0 at home to league leaders Liverpool in a game where they let several chances go missing.

They’ve now suffered three defeats in their last five league games and with the potential exit of Christian Eriksen who is currently in talks with Inter Milan, the core of Tottenham’s team is breaking down.

Sportsbooks have their updated odds of finishing in the top four openings at +450.

EPL Odds for Arsenal to Finish in the Top Four

Arsenal followed their first win in five games with a 1-1 draw away to Crystal Palace.

After Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring for the Arsenal, Jordan Ayew’s deflected strike beat Bernd Leno and secured a point for the South London side.

Despite the upturn in form since the arrival of Mikel Arteta, Arsenal isn’t out of the woods yet as they are the lowest team in the table on this list.

They are also 11 points behind Chelsea in fourth and will need an almost flawless second half of the season if they want a return to the Champions League since the 2016/17 season.

Sportsbooks has the odds of Arsenal finishing in the top four at a lowly +1400.

Chelsea earned a much needed 3-0 home win over Burnley in which academy product Callum Hudson-Odoi scored his first-ever Premier League goal for Chelsea.

Chelsea is now five points ahead of fifth-place Manchester United and is on track to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in Frank Lampard’s first season as head coach of the club.

It’ll also be a return to Europe’s elite competition after an absence of one season as Chelsea were winners of the UEFA Europa League with a 4-1 victory over London rivals Arsenal.

EPL Odds for Manchester United to Finish in the Top Four

Norwich City has cut their deficit to just five points behind Chelsea.

According to reports, United are close to the signing of Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes who is the type of player United have been missing this season.

A playmaker who can score and assist goals from midfield whilst being a dead ball specialist is a player Manchester United have desperately needed and his potential signing could go a long way in their efforts to finish in the top four.

Sportsbooks’ odds on Manchester United to finish in the top four are open at +300.

Leicester City dropped to third in the table after a 2-1 home late loss to Southampton. After consecutive wins against Newcastle and West Ham United, Leicester was punished by Southampton striker Danny Ings who scored his 14th league goal of the season to secure three points for the away side.

Leicester remains six points ahead of fourth-placed Chelsea and looks set for a return to the UEFA Champions League, a competition they haven’t competed in since the 2016/17 season.

Sportsbooks’ odds on Leicester City to finish in the top four open at -700.
