Arizona Diamondbacks Odds
The Arizona Diamondbacks have gotten their offense into flow in the thin air of Colorado, scoring 19 runs in two games, but have only won one of those contests.
The three-game series concludes Wednesday afternoon with Arizona right-hander Luke Weaver (0-3, 12.19 ERA) on the mound. Weaver was limited to three innings by design in his previous start at San Diego, where he gave up two runs on two hits and one walk. He is 1-1 with a 6.57 ERA in four career games (three starts) vs. Colorado.
D-backs relievers Kevin Ginkel and Alex Young were rocked Tuesday for a combined six runs while recording just two outs, spoiling a solid start from Zac Gallen in an 8-7 defeat.
Colorado Rockies Odds
The Charlie Blackmon Show continued at Coors Field on Tuesday as the Colorado Rockies’ left-handed swinger had three more hits Tuesday to increase his batting average to an even .500 (34-for-68).
Blackmon has recorded a hit in 15 consecutive games after opening the season without a hit in his first nine at-bats. Nolan Arenado hit a home run Tuesday, his fourth, after not collecting an extra-base hit over his first eight games. He had four hits Monday to snap an 0-for-14 skid.
Right-hander Antonio Senzatela (3-0, 2.56 ERA) is scheduled to pitch Wednesday, coming off consecutive quality starts. The Diamondbacks have handled him in the past though, as he is 2-5 with a 5.83 ERA in 11 games (seven starts) vs. Arizona.
