Left-hander Brett Anderson, who was scratched from his scheduled July 25 start against the Cubs with a blister on the index finger of his pitching hand, is set to get the call for Milwaukee. Anderson (0-1, 5.40 ERA) has logged 6 2/3 innings in two starts since returning from the injured list. He is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA in three career starts against the Cubs.
Milwaukee yielded a season-high run total Wednesday in a 12-2 loss. The Brewers have scored just two runs in the first inning in 16 games this season.

The Chicago Cubs will go for their 13th victory in 16 games to begin the season when they open a 10-game homestand on Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Right-hander Yu Darvish (2-1, 2.12 ERA) is set to get the start for Chicago.
In his most recent outing, on Aug. 5 in Kansas City, Darvish limited the Royals to one run in seven innings while striking out four.
